Baan Vijitt Restaurant

Max. 50 guests

This 60-year-old mansion was the original home of the Vijitt family and has now been converted to a beautiful award winning restaurant. A historic Sino-Portuguese building tucked away on the resort’s back grounds, this beautiful home is set in the midst of a lush garden full of exotic local plants and sparkling freshwater lotus ponds. The interior of the property is elegant and detailed, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the Vijitt family. It is the perfect spot for those in search of a romantic and intimate ceremony and reception.

Beachfront Garden

Max. 100 guests

The Beachfront Garden is the most popular ceremony and reception location here. A 250-meter stretch of flat lawn beach as you look out over the Chalong Bay toward Cape Panwa and the green Coral Islands dotting the blue horizon. Say “I do” underneath a bamboo arch carefully strung with beautiful white and yellow local flowers as your guests look on from under the shade of mature palm trees and tall coconut trees, surrounded by fragrant fruit trees and colorful indigenous fauna. After the ceremony, venture down to the beach for a wedding photo shoot in front of sparkling waters.

What we love:
  • This historic Sino-Portuguese mansion is more than 60 years old and was transported and reassembled at the Vijitt.
  • A tranquil U-shaped lotus pond surrounds the building, with tropical flowers and lily pads providing excellent photo opportunities.
  • You can take advantage of the relaxing views starting from the lawn to the beach and islands in the background.
  • The lotus pond can be filled with floating lanterns to create a romantic ambiance.
  • A private area tucked away from the main hotel grounds ensuring a more intimate celebration.
  • The outdoor area is great for a western ceremony, whereas the restaurant inside is perfect for a beautiful Thai wedding.
What we love:
  • An extremely large and lush rectangular lawn, surrounded by tall coconut palms and greenery makes it great choice to accommodate larger groups.
  • A few steps down from the lawn you have the sand, providing excellent photo opportunities of beach, calm sea and islands.
  • Groves of coconut trees provide ample shade from the Thai sun and can be used for hanging decorations to add a personal touch.
  • Choose between different parts of the lawn, with some areas requiring a further walk away from the resort’s main facilities in exchange for extra privacy.
Things you should know:
  • This area can be reached via buggy, great for less mobile guests.
  • The restaurant inside can accommodate up to 40 people. Outside you can fit up to 50 people too.
Things you should know:
  • There is no sunset here, however you will be able to enjoy the beautiful sunrise.
  • Certain parts of the lawn are still in view of passersby.
  • A little bit of walking is required to reach here, which may possibly inconvenience your elderly guests.
