About Noku Beach House

NoKu Beach House is a six-bedroom statement of avant-garde Zen design.  A cool and calm aesthetic is imbued throughout this exquisite Bali residence, which presents beauty in every corner. Reminiscent of the mythical Shangri-La in James Hilton’s “Lost Horizon”, exotic overhanging greenery creates an otherworldly indoor-outdoor experience at this tropical oasis.

This beachfront Seminyak villa is a dream for those who love to entertain, with a fully staffed commercial kitchen, a preparation kitchen, wine room, bar and maître’d station by the dining room.

Dining options abound.  Choose from an elegant indoor dining area, outdoor dining under a covered terrace, rooftop terraces, and two raised oceanfront decks with long views down the beach to the cliffs of Jimbaran Bay.  Perfect for Champagne cocktails at sunset, served by the villa’s professionally trained staff.

NoKu Beach House has its own private radio station with playlists developed by some of the world’s most celebrated DJ’s.  A Void sound system is controlled via a tablet and each room and space has independently controlled sound.  The enormous shaded pool balé and dining area has a chill-out space furnished with Arabian style daybeds, and is crowned by a party-perfect sea-view terrace.

Three opulent oceanfront bedrooms have big blue-water views and all six bedrooms are appointed with exquisite linens, sublime finishes, state-of-the-art sound systems and connectivity, plus beautiful tropical bathrooms.

This villa’s elegant modern interiors are embellished with custom-made furniture, exclusively designed wall and floor tiles, ancient salvaged wood from throughout the Indonesian archipelago and opulent Moroccan-inspired colour schemes of mint green, navy and turquoise.

The villa’s 27-metre swimming pool features shallow sunken areas for chilled sunning – just a stone’s throw from the beach, while a private walled spa with a mosaic-tiled plunge pool is accessed through a stunning colonnade featuring Japanese-influenced ponds and a waterfall.

What we love:

  • Noku Beach House is staffed to world-class standards and supported by an Executive Chef from Australia with a team of experienced kitchen staff.
  • They are excellent at catering an in-house event for smaller numbers of approx. 50, or perfect for pre and post parties.
  • There is a commercial kitchen available for outside caterers at the vendor access area which is specially built for events, however caterers should bring their own cooking equipment if catering for a particularly large event. If necessary, plating can be done outside after the vendor loading has finished – around 2 pm or earlier. Trucks may be unloaded from the path beside the kitchen but must not be parked there, there is no parking available only a loading zone. It is recommended that all equipment be unloaded the night before set up and stored in the secure area beside the kitchen.
  • The villa has a bar in the pool bale which may be used for events. We strongly suggest caterers set up freestanding bars on the lawn. Caterers should take care to protect the grass as well as the surface of the villa’s bar by using mats to minimize damage.
  • There are a total of four public toilets available for guest use. Two guest’s toilets are available near the villa’s dining and living room and the additional two can be found attached to the villa’s main building. It is the responsibility of the EO’s to oversee the cleanliness of these toilets during the course of the event and the guests to ensure their belongings in the bedrooms are safely stored.

Things you should know:

  • Fireworks, balloon release, and/or Thai wishing lanterns are strictly forbidden.
  • Marquees are allowed, however these must be freestanding.
  • The loading area must be cleared 2 hours before the event is due to commence as after that no vehicles are allowed to enter this loading area. Maximum loading time allowed is for a period of one hour.
  • No staging is to be built into or over the pool.
  • Floating bamboo and foam structures for candles and flowers are permitted however the event organiser should ensure their removal by 1 am or as soon as guests enter the pool in order to avoid any damage or injury.
