About Bulgari Resort Bali

Perched 160 metres above Bali’s dramatic southern coastline, Bulgari Resort Bali is an extraordinary clifftop retreat where Italian refinement meets the soul of the Island of the Gods. Set between the charming village of Pecatu and the celebrated surf haven of Uluwatu, the resort enjoys a spectacular position overlooking the Indian Ocean, with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets framing each day. Surrounded by frangipani trees, volcanic stone and sweeping sea views, the resort offers a rare sense of privacy and beauty, while remaining within easy reach of Bali’s cultural landmarks, world-class beaches, dining and wellness experiences.

Spread across 8.4 hectares of terraced landscape inspired by Bali’s rice fields, Bulgari Resort Bali was conceived by the Milanese architectural firm ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. Its design combines contemporary Italian elegance with traditional Balinese principles, using hand-cut volcanic lava stone, rich local woods and alang-alang roofs to create a setting that feels both sophisticated and deeply rooted in place. Throughout the resort, Balinese heritage is honoured through temple ceremonies, cooking classes, traditional dance performances and immersive cultural experiences that invite guests to connect with the island in a meaningful way.

The resort features 59 exclusive villas and mansions, each designed as a private sanctuary with its own swimming pool lined in jade-hued sukabumi stone. Interiors are enriched with Indonesian antiques, handcrafted furnishings and artisanal details created in collaboration with local craftspeople, while bespoke butler service ensures every stay is effortless and highly personalised. From the remarkable two-storey Bulgari Villa with its cascading 20-metre pool, private spa room and cinema, to the expansive three- and five-bedroom mansions that feel like private resorts within the resort, every accommodation offers seclusion, space and extraordinary ocean views. The two-bedroom Premier Ocean View and Ocean Cliff Villas provide an equally refined experience, blending lush tropical gardens, elegant interiors and panoramic vistas of the Indian Ocean.

Dining at Bulgari Resort Bali is a celebration of place, flavour and atmosphere. The Bulgari Bar, set high above the ocean beneath a traditional alang-alang roof, is one of the island’s most captivating spots for sunset aperitivo, signature cocktails and light bites. Il Ristorante – Niko Romito brings Chef Niko Romito’s contemporary Italian vision to Bali, with tasting menus that showcase both the finest Italian ingredients and vibrant local produce. Sangkar, the resort’s all-day restaurant, offers elevated Balinese and Indonesian cuisine at the highest point of the cliff, with sweeping ocean views and richly detailed interiors inspired by local artistry. For more intimate occasions, the Private Dining Room provides a refined setting overlooking the sea, ideal for bespoke celebrations and special gatherings.

Wellbeing is an integral part of the Bulgari experience. The Bulgari Spa offers a serene ocean-edge sanctuary where Asian and European approaches come together in a menu of deeply restorative treatments, including Balinese rituals, body wraps, facials and massages using warm volcanic stones and aromatic oils. The Bvlgari Gymnasium, developed in partnership with Technogym, provides a highly personalised wellness journey with advanced fitness technology and tailored training programmes. Guests can also enjoy private yoga, meditation and a range of holistic experiences designed to restore balance and vitality.

Beyond the resort, a wealth of curated activities allows guests to discover Bali’s landscapes and traditions. Experiences include melukat purification ceremonies at the resort temple, village walks, Balinese cooking classes, Kamasan painting, cycling across the Bukit Peninsula, private surf lessons, day cruises to Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan, and sunset visits to Pura Luhur Uluwatu with its famous kecak dance performance. The Little Gems Club also ensures younger guests are welcomed with thoughtful, playful experiences inspired by the Bvlgari spirit.

Weddings at Bulgari Resort Bali are intimate, elegant and utterly unforgettable. Couples may exchange vows in the world’s first Bulgari wedding chapel, handcrafted from Paras Kerobokan stone and glass, celebrate in the oceanfront La Terrazza, or host an extraordinary private event within the Bulgari Mansion or Bulgari Villa. With dramatic cliffside views, refined Italian-Balinese design and dedicated wedding planners overseeing every detail, each celebration is tailored with exceptional care, creating a setting where romance, beauty and craftsmanship come together in perfect harmony.
