About Capella Ubud Bali

Nestled at the heart of lush green forests, Capella Ubud Bali is a unique tented camp which sits in harmony with the surrounding nature. Inspired by the early European settlers from the 1800s, architect Bill Bensley designed Capella Ubud, Bali as a tribute to their spirit of adventure.

The refined camp is more than a hotel. Constructed within the trees and hidden from afar, it captures the imagination of those who seek a unique experience at the heart of Bali’s untouched natural surroundings. Within the camp are twenty-two one-bedroom tents as well as one two-bedroom lodge, all with private salt water pools.

Capella Ubud’s five Terrace Tents overlook the rice terraces and rainforest from large outdoor decks, with daybeds and poolside sun loungers around a salt-water plunge pool. Inside, timeless charm meets sumptuous modern comforts such as the hammered copper freestanding bath and art and antiques from the owner’s private collection.

Inspired by the spirit of discovery, the Ubud restaurants add an unexpected twist to traditional flavours, influenced by the jungle setting and local heritage. Seasonal, sustainably-farmed ingredients are the priority at Mads’ Lounge, while Api Jiwa cooks up intimate, authentic Asian street food. Enjoy comforting camp snacks around the Camp Fire, as you listen to live storytelling or a nostalgic film.

Best of all, from the most intimate unions and anniversaries to the grandest of marriages Capella Ubud, Bali has the style, immaculate attention to detail, a unique rainforest setting and unobtrusive service to exceed your dreams. Let the adventures begin surrounded by your loved ones.
