The Umabona Residence, meaning “House of the Earth” in Sanskrit, stands out due to its grandeur. The aesthetic and design takes its influence from the Majapahit palaces and their formal pleasure gardens with interior details that include hand carvings, fine antiques, courtly furniture, gilding, richly painted walls and precious textiles.
