Outdoor Yoga Garden
Beneath a canopy of mature frangipani and palm, the Outdoor Yoga Garden at Samsara Ubud is framed by dense tropical forest on three sides, giving the space a secluded, jungle-enclosed feel. A wide stretch of manicured lawn forms the practice area, bordered by flowering shrubs and clipped hedging that soften the transition into the surrounding greenery. Overhead, tree branches interlace to create a natural, dappled ceiling, while the open aspect above the lawn allows clear sky views for early morning or dusk sessions. The setting's stillness and enclosure by forest on all sides lend it a calm, private atmosphere suited to quiet practice.
The Main Pool
Set on a raised timber deck against a backdrop of dense jungle canopy, the Main Pool is a long, tiled infinity-edge pool that appears to merge with the tree line beyond. A rounded end anchors one side of the pool while the opposite edge runs flush with the deck, framed by a timber pergola and clusters of tropical planting including frangipani trees. The surrounding deck offers ample space for loungers and shaded seating, with tiered garden beds and rice-paddy-style greenery stepping down beyond the pool's edge. Ringed by forest on nearly every side, the setting is elevated and open to the sky, with the tree canopy providing a natural sense of privacy and shade around the water.
Indoor Yoga Area
Enclosed within a curved, white-columned pavilion, the Indoor Yoga Area sits elevated above a forested ravine, with a black metal balustrade running the length of the room's open side. Tall pillars support a sweeping ceiling, giving the space a bright, airy quality despite being fully covered overhead. Floor-to-ceiling views stretch out across a dense tangle of rainforest, including tree ferns and jungle canopy, giving practitioners an immersive, green outlook from every angle of the curved floor. The pale stone flooring and unbroken sightlines to the surrounding forest lend the room a calm, light-filled atmosphere suited to indoor practice with an outdoor feel.
