About The Glass House by Tirtha

The Glass House is a private retreat that embraces the beauty of nature and lends itself to the spirt of celebration. The 3 bedroom villa is encompassed by tropical greenery to enhance a magical ceremony and inspired photo shoot. There is also ample space for sophisticated wining, dining and partying the night away. Originally concepted by acclaimed Italian designer, Alessandro Landi, The Glass House was once a sanctuary for discerning holidaymakers. It was recently given a new lease of life and aesthetically transformed by architect Fredo Taffin.

Structurally, this split-level venue is crafted primarily from clear glass in a clean-line design to seamlessly transition and harmonise with the outdoors. By day, The Glass House is bathed in dappled sunlight that filters through a natural boundary of mature trees. As darkness descends, artistic mood lighting can be controlled to replicate the twinkle of stars or the shimmering glow of the moon.

The Glass House is a multifaceted venue that offers couples an array of versatile indoor and outdoor settings with space to host up to 150 invited guests. A collection of themed gardens or a 20 metre swimming pool edged by a timber deck can be expertly styled to conduct a heartfelt ceremony before an audience of loved ones.

For an intimate gathering, the Yellow Bamboo Garden is a grassy enclave cocooned by native bamboo and leafy green foliage. The Moonlight Garden is another stunning environment with a spill-out out terrace and a scattering of native palms dancing in the breeze. This flexible outdoor area can accommodate a wedding ceremony, alfresco dinner and a vibrant after-party.

The pièce de résistance at The Glass House is a striking structure named the Plumeria Room. This elevated pavilion seemingly floats in mid-air and features floor to ceiling glass panels for a 180-degree view of exotic garden greenery. It is a light and airy lounge-inspired space that functions as a blank canvas for any type of decor or floral concept.

The Glass House is also supported by a cleverly concealed commercial kitchen along with a bar staffed by a dynamic team. They are led by Chef Ryoichi Kano who will work his magic to curate a flavourful menu of impeccable cuisine paired with fine wine. A innovative brigade of florists is also on hand to customize a personal look that promises to be fabulous, fresh and fragrant.

Formerly a luxury villa, The Glass House has three well-appointed bedrooms with en-suite bathroom facilities that can be used as dressing rooms for bridal hair and make-up. The master suite opens up to a calming Water Garden while the other two rooms are enveloped by indigenous flora.

As Tirtha Bali continues to evolve as Bali’s premier wedding venue, The Glass House is a superb addition to its comprehensive portfolio. This newest facility is perfect for modern bridal couples who are seeking a less conventional setting to celebrate their love in style. The Glass House is elegant yet edgy with its own distinct wow factor and visual appeal.
