About The Kayon Valley Resort

A floating Puspaka Chapel at The Kayon Valley Resort creates a mystical place for a wedding in Ubud, surrounded by a magnificent natural setting of rice fields, lush jungles, and the soothing sound of the river. The name carries the story when King Rama doubts Shinta’s devotion after being kidnapped by Rahwana. Shinta proves it by jumping into the fire, and The God of Surya protects Shinta from being burnt. Magically the fire turned into fragrant flower petal flowers. Rama then takes Shinta into the Puspaka Royal carriage.

Located in the rural village of Petulu, The Kayon Valley Resort Ubud can be reached within a 10 minute drive from downtown Ubud. While Petulu is known as home to local artisans, it is also a hinterland setting framed by tropical forest and rice terraces in an area above the Petanu River.

The Kayon Valley Resort Ubud boasts an exceptional landscape whereby 22 tastefully-private pool villas promise unrivaled luxury paired with stunning views perfect for leisure travelers and honeymooners. The nature and the Balinese vibe synchronize well with modern lifestyle facilities.

The Kayon Valley Resort is a peaceful retreat where guests can reconnect with the magnificence of nature. It is also a haven for leisurely walks around the village to explore ceremonial rituals. There are countless activities and sites of interest just waiting for you; ancient temples to traditional dance performances, a sacred monkey forest, the elephant park, white water rafting adventures, and cycling excursions.

The soothing sounds of birds, wind chimes, and the gentle flow of water across the valley drift you to a new level of tranquillity. Meanwhile, Kayon Valley Resort’s manicured gardens, tropical foliage, and incense fill the air with exotic fragrances. The visual appeal comes from its architectural concept, stylish design elements, Balinese artworks, and lush landscape. Your taste buds will be enticed by fresh and flavourful cuisine and complimentary treats served throughout the day. The linens and soft bath towels provided will pamper your entire relaxation stay.
