About Radisson Blu Resort, Fiji Denarau Island

Radisson Blu Resort, Fiji Denarau Island sits within 10 acres of lush gardens, cascading waterfalls and a private beach, on Fiji’s largest resort island and about 20 minutes from Nadi International Airport (NAN). Four climate-controlled lagoon pools include Fiji’s only whitewater tunnel slide. Port Denarau is close by for island cruises, with Malamala Beach Club a short 20-minute boat ride away and the Mamanuca Islands less than an hour from Denarau. Closer to the resort, guests can enjoy the shopping and dining at Port Denarau, the cultural charms of Nadi Town, Big Bula Waterpark, the Sri Siva Subramaniya temple and a round at the nearby Denarau Golf & Racquet Club.

The resort has 270 rooms and suites, each with a private balcony or patio overlooking tropical gardens, the lagoon-style pools, the ocean or a courtyard. Standard, Superior and Deluxe Rooms offer king, twin or trundle bed options depending on the category. One Bedroom Suites suit families and longer stays. Two Bedroom Suites combine a room with a One Bedroom Suite, linked by a private foyer but not directly connected, giving groups and families extra space and privacy. Accessible rooms and rollaway beds are available on request for an additional charge.

Dining at the resort spans six restaurants serving a range of global cuisines, from poolside bites to romantic oceanfront dinners. Blu Bar & Grill serves a generous breakfast buffet, beach club-style lunches and themed buffet dinners with live entertainment. Basilico offers family-style Italian dishes, including freshly baked focaccia, antipasti and homemade pasta, while Chantara serves dishes from four regions of Thailand, with live Thai BBQ. Byblos brings Lebanese mezze and charcoal-grilled specialties, and Teppanyaki has chefs preparing meats, seafood and vegetables at the table. For something more private, guests can dine under the stars with their feet in the water at Lomani Wai or book a romantic beachfront dinner at Signature Tables. Bookings are essential for these experiences.

Wellness and recreation are well covered on site. Harmony Retreat Day Spa offers massages and facials using Pure Fiji products, in a newly renovated setting. The fitness centre is equipped with modern equipment and open to all guests with their room key, and sunrise yoga by the beach offers a calm start to the day. Children aged 4 to 12 are looked after at the Blu Banana Kids’ Club, with arts and crafts, outdoor games, nature adventures and cultural experiences in a supervised setting. Hydro Sports Fiji, based on site, arranges jet ski hire and safaris, snorkelling tours, private boat charters, tubing, flyboarding and game fishing. The weekly Nadi Town Tour takes guests to the Sri Siva Subramaniya Temple, the Nadi food and vegetable market and the town’s shopping district.

Weddings at the resort take place against the backdrop of the South Pacific. The pillarless ballroom suits an indoor wedding or reception, with a private balcony overlooking the manicured golf course for photographs. Outdoors, the Vei Domoni Lawn and Waterfall Lawn offer tropical garden settings, while the Ocean Deck is the spot to capture a pink sunset over the sea. With accommodation for wedding guests on site, from rooms to family-friendly suites, celebrations can be held in one location.

Note: Weddings are not available on all Fiji public holidays and from 24th December to 1st January.
