About Hotel Fouquet’s Paris

On the famous Avenue George V, a short walk from the Arc de Triomphe, Hôtel Fouquet’s Paris sits at the crossroads of the Champs-Élysées in the Golden Triangle. The address has been tied to Parisian glamour since the brasserie opened in 1899, and writers, film stars and gala dinners have long been part of its story. Interiors by Jacques Garcia give the hotel the warmth of a private residence rather than a grand institution, with velvet, mahogany and crystal set against refined baroque salons. The result is a stay that feels both spectacular and intimate, right at the heart of the city.

The hotel has 101 rooms and suites, many of them with views over the Champs-Élysées, Avenue George V or the hidden garden of Joy. Garcia’s palette of beige and gold runs through them, with generous headboards and marble bathrooms adding a quiet luxury. Since 2019, 19 new rooms and signature suites overlooking the Champs-Élysées have joined the collection. The three Signature Suites are laid out in the Haussmannian tradition, with herringbone parquet, marble fireplaces and original mouldings. From the second floor up to the fourth, their outlook widens from the avenue to the Arc de Triomphe and, from the top suite, the Eiffel Tower. Harcourt Paris Suite, in grey and gold tones, has a bedroom window framing the Arc de Triomphe, a private terrace over the inner courtyard, and a lounge that converts into a pop-up photography studio.

Dining here ranges from the historic to the contemporary. Brasserie Fouquet’s has stood at the corner of the Champs-Élysées and Avenue George V since 1899, and its two terraces look towards the Arc de Triomphe beneath its signature red awnings. Inside, black-and-white portraits of cinema icons line the walls, and the menu revisits French classics such as sole meunière and millefeuille. Joy offers a quieter alternative, with book-lined alcoves and an inner garden that suits a leisurely lunch or a discreet business meal. La Galerie serves breakfast, light plates and cocktails along the way.

Bars and the spa carry the day into the evening. L’Escadrille, the brasserie’s bar, has been serving cocktails since the 1900s and keeps its wood panelling and a historic propeller as a nod to the aviators who once gathered there. The rooftop, on the fifth floor, has been renovated and offers Franco-Japanese cuisine and cocktails among greenery as the sun sets. The spa blends French elegance with Japanese beauty expertise. It includes a 15-metre heated pool, an aquatic circuit, a sauna, a hammam, an ice room with its ice wall, and a Technogym fitness space.

For weddings, celebrations and corporate events, the hotel offers more than 445 m² of function rooms, along with a boardroom, the rooftop terrace, its restaurants and bars, and the suites. Tailored service accompanies each occasion, so a ceremony, cocktail reception or gala dinner can unfold in a setting that is quintessentially Parisian. The kitchen team designs refined menus for each event, supported by attentive, personal service from the hotel.
