About Meridian Adventure Dive Resort, Raja Ampat
Situated in Raja Ampat, Indonesia, Meridian Adventure Dive Resort is a PADI 5 Star Resort and winner of the PADI Green Star award. Scuba divers enjoy our professional services that have become synonymous with both the PADI and Meridian Adventure names.
Known as one of Raja Ampat’s best kept secrets, Meridian Adventure Dive Resort is located in Waisai, the Capital of the Raja Ampat Regency on the island of Waigeo. Raja Ampat is a stunning tropical paradise often referred to as “diving’s final frontier”. It has the highest known concentration and diversity of marine life on earth, with 80% of all the world’s coral species, more than 1300 species of fish, 6 of the world’s 7 marine turtle species and 27 varieties of marine mammal.
We are proud to be an eco-conscious resort and consider the environmental and socio-economic impact of every aspect of our operation. While Meridian Adventure Dive Resort has its main focus and passion poured into scuba diving; with the idyllic tropical island setting, Raja Ampat has so much more to offer in scenery and wild life than just the diving. Guests are offered an array of activities to pursue whilst exploring the region, both above and below the water. Paddle board safaris, guided boat tours, local village visits, coconut crab excursions and anything that says adventure is what you can expect when visiting us in the Heart of the Coral Triangle.
Our modern unique accommodation is best described as ‘barefoot luxury’. With a focus on quality and comfort, the resort provides all the simple luxuries, nothing more – nothing less. Each 15sqm room is air-conditioned with a twin or double bed, ensuite bathrooms, with basic amenities – TV, safe, toiletries, towels, bathrobes.
