About Hotel Ca’ Bonfadini

Overlooking the Cannaregio Canal, Hotel Cà Bonfadini is an important building from the 16th century that makes magic every stay and event, thanks also to the frescoes that feature the suites and the common areas in a very distinctive way. Inside the Hotel you can find the Dama Restaurant, with elegant and contemporary furnishings. Managed by the young and talented Chef Lorenzo Cogo, it offers traditional cuisine with an innovative and refined touch.

Behind a simple eighteenth-century architecture façade, overlooking the Cannaregio Canal, Ca’ Bonfadini hides surprising frescos and stuccos by the major artist of the Venetian neoclassical period. The spacious and bright Suites are distinguished by artistic elements, luxury finishes, and neoclassical-style furniture. Every detail has been designed for making your stay a unique experience.

Magic and dreams: that’s what you wish for your wedding party. The wedding reception is an unforgettable event that requires a unique location and perfection in every single detail. Hotel Cà Bonfadini in Venice is the perfect place to find hospitality, attention to every need and the unique atmosphere of a five-star service within a historical location.

At Cà Bonfadini, the wedding reception is exclusive and private, up to 30 guests: you can arrange the exclusive use of all the hotel areas in order to make your important day even more special. The hotel staff are at the disposal of the newlyweds to advise them and meet all their needs: starting from the arrival at the location – which is possible thanks to the private dock – to the chance to use an indoor space suitable for the organization of a symbolic ceremony.

Guests will be welcomed with a cocktail in the private garden or in an indoor area, and then they can access the reception at the Dama Restaurant. There’s a “Briccola” in the Lagoon that will show you the way to discovering the flavours and colours of the Venetian lagoon, skillfully reinterpreted in the seafood and vegetarian dishes prepared according to the original vision of our head chef. A “fresh and colourful cuisine” and an excellent selection of Italian and international wine.

A crepuscular habitat lit by the suffused glow of a central spotlight. Long tables made from boards recovered from the old “Briccole” of the lagoon. The concept uses a few elements to replicate the simple comfort of the typical Venetian “campo”, the fulcrum of the social, business and religious life of Venice.

Note: A buyout of the hotel is required to have your wedding here. This will ensure you have an exclusive and intimate atmosphere during the entire wedding day.
