On the beautiful bluffs of Punta Ballena, Esperanza is situated between two secluded coves with private beaches on the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula in Mexico. The resort is located 30 minutes from the San Jose del Cabo International Airport. The Southern Baja subtropical desert climate offers a blissful 350 days of sunshine a year with warm temperatures and temperate breezes, making Cabo and Esperanza an ideal year-round destination.
Fifty-seven guest casitas and suites cascade down a gentle hill, affording spectacular ocean views from every room. Resort amenities include an oceanfront infinity-edge pool, private beach, award-winning spa, yoga studio, fitness centre, art gallery and world-class dining—all with spectacular 180-degree vistas of sky and sea, for a perfectly private resort escape.
Experience an array of spectacular dishes delivered with artful presentation and earnest passion for culinary excellence. Chef Guillermo Gomez skillfully designs menus for each of the resort’s six restaurants, including the newly reimagined Cocina del Mar, set on a rocky promontory surrounded by crashing waves.
Esperanza also features the only private beach in Los Cabos, so a ceremony or reception on the sand will be completely uninterrupted. They are also unique from most properties because they allow for only one wedding per day. This is their way to ensure that their staff’s undivided attention is focused on you, your guests, and your special day.
Note 1: There is a Food & Beverage minimum spend based on the number of guests.
Note 2: The wedding fee includes your venue for the wedding day and in-house furniture.
Note 3: Blockout dates for weddings are all holiday weekends, and 24th December.
Note 4: Minimum room nights are required as below:
- A minimum of 20 rooms for 3 nights is required for weddings hosted on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
- A minimum of 12 rooms for 3 nights is required for weddings hosted from Mondays to Thursdays.
- Please note that room reservations can include a combination of at least ten (10) Casitas, with additional rooms available as Villas. Each bedroom within a Villa counts as one room toward the total.
- Guests who are not staying at the resort are welcome to arrive one hour prior to the scheduled events, except for the Bridal Party, who may arrive early to get ready.
