Built on a cliff overlooking the quaint seaside town of Port Sóller and surrounded by the UNESCO World Heritage Tramuntana Mountains, the location of the hotel is idyllic. In terms of its approach to sustainability, Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa holds the LEED GOLD certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), an internationally recognized green building certification system. Additionally, Jumeirah Port Soller has been awarded the ISTUR Gold Certificate for complying with the standards of the Hoteles Eficientes Sostenibles® (Sustainable Efficient Hotels) evaluation model from the Spanish Institute for Tourism Sustainability (ISTUR) and recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Industry and Tourism.
The hotel has 121 rooms and suites, spread over 11 separate buildings and covering 18,000 square metres. The paths and internal passages weave the buildings together through a series of lush gardens planted with vegetation native to the island. The architecture of the property was carefully designed to complement and utilize the natural surroundings, resulting in an incredible construction on the clifftop location. Wandering through the hotel, one catches glimpses of the stunning landscape beyond the property, while from above, the buildings are concealed by the grasses planted on the rooftops.
Our opulent Talise Spa is the island’s most sumptuous wellness and fitness retreat, awarded “Best Hotel Spa in Spain” at the World Spa Awards 2018 for four years running. It comprises 10 spacious treatment suites alongside a luxurious Hammam Suite, a spacious sauna with natural daylight, a 24-hour gym with the latest Technogym equipment and a personal trainer available on request for assessments and guidance. Talise Spa is the only wellness centre in the country to include Sodashi skincare in its treatment and retail menu. A high-end vegan Australian brand, which creates luxurious high-performance skincare using only the purest botanical extracts and clays.
