Chumbe Island's Visitor Center is an open venue with a unique eco-design (high Zanzibar style 'makuti' thatched roofs). It has a ground-level patio and terraces, as well as an upper-level airy loft. It overlooks the Indian Ocean and a private marine protected area, as well as views onto Chumbe Island's historic mosque and lighthouse. The main wedding ceremonies would be done on the ground floor.
