An unforgettable stay for our Wedding!!
We were very fortunate to be able to stay at Cape Fahn for 4 nights to celebrate our wedding day with family and friends at this stunning property on July 28th.
It was truly the most amazing week from arrival to departure, more than we could have ever imagined, the location is stunning, the rooms – out of this world, but what impressed us the most, was the staff, they were exceptional- everyone we encountered went out of their way to make us feel welcome, listen to our needs & requests and provide outstanding service.
We had been communicating with Tom, the General Manager for quite some time planning our special day from overseas, he was always willing to pick up the phone when we wanted to talk, was extremely reassuring, and give us his word that everything was under control, and that it was, he was there to meet us on arrival, he was present throughout our wedding day and came to bid us farewell on departure – a very special touch, Thank you Tom!! You’re doing amazing things at Cape Fahn.
A few months ago we were introduced to Neff – The Events Manager, and what an absolute GEM she is!! Words can’t explain how special she made our wedding day, the days prior and the days after, every detail was taken care of, even things we didn’t think off, her professionalism, sense of humour and dedication to her role is unmatched. She took all our requests even ones she’d never heard off, and delivered above & beyond, we can’t imagine our day without her, she is a wonderful asset to the team. A special thanks for singing for us at our reception, we will never forget your contribution & involvement in our day.
A special mention to James, who blew my family away with his attention to detail and care in collecting them and taken them to their room on arrival. To Dima – The Guest Services Manager who was always there making sure we had everything we needed and assisting with our wedding day, we can’t thank you enough and to Patsy from Hue Restaurant, we went there a number of times throughout our stay and she was amazing, warm and welcoming, she was also there leading our wedding reception service and it was faultless.
The 2 lovely Spa Therapists who provided our treatments, they were the best I’ve had in a long a time and I’m usually a harsh critic in the spa world – Thank you ladies, it was just what we needed.
Having a background in management in luxury 5 star hotels around the world, a third of our wedding guests also came with senior hospitality management as their profession from globally recognized hotels – Hotel Managers, Director of HR, Events Manager, F&B Manager – each one highly impressed with the level of expertise, the service standards and overall experience!
Thank you to each and every one of you and also to those we don’t see front of house but keep things going from the heart of house, we can’t wait to return again one day!!!
