Hyatt Regency Koh Samui

Where do we even begin? We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Koh Samui with a large group of family and friends for our wedding, and from the moment we arrived until the day we left, the experience was absolutely incredible.

Before choosing our venue, we did months of research. We considered private villas, spoke with several other hotels across Koh Samui and explored so many different options. From our very first enquiry, we had the pleasure of dealing with Tum, who has been with the hotel since it first opened. His knowledge, passion and professionalism immediately stood out. He organised a grand tour of the resort during our first meeting, and from that moment we knew this was where we wanted to get married. He made us feel so confident that we would be looked after, and he couldn’t have been more right.

A very special mention to Pop and the entire Events Team, who hosted three events for us, including our wedding. We are honestly beyond words. Their professionalism, communication and attention to detail were exceptional from start to finish, and they made what could have been a stressful experience feel completely effortless.

Pop was an absolute champion. No request was ever too much trouble, and he genuinely went above and beyond to make our wedding everything we had dreamed of. He helped bring all of our ideas to life, including creating custom cornhole boards for our lawn games, and on the wedding day he was our go-to person for absolutely everything. At one point, he even ran all the way back to our villa to collect flowers we’d forgotten, making sure everything was perfect without us having to worry. That level of care and dedication is something we’ll never forget.

The wedding itself was more than we could have ever imagined. The fire show was absolutely out of this world, and every detail came together perfectly. It was everything we had dreamed of and more.

One of the biggest surprises was how incredible all of the vendors were. Planning a destination wedding can be daunting, but the Hyatt team hand-picked and coordinated many of our suppliers, including our hair and makeup artists, photographer, DJ and florist. We didn’t have to spend months researching or worrying about whether we’d chosen the right people because Pop and the team had it all covered. Every single vendor exceeded our expectations, worked seamlessly together and played a huge part in making our day so special. It made the whole planning process feel effortless, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

A huge thank you also goes to every member of the hotel staff. Every single person greeted us with a smile and made us feel genuinely welcome. We travelled with a large group of family and friends, and every one of our guests commented on how friendly, helpful and accommodating the staff were throughout our stay.

The resort itself is stunning. The breakfast buffet has an incredible variety with something for everyone, the pools are fantastic, the family and children’s facilities are excellent, and the rooms are spacious, modern and beautifully maintained.

From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every single member of the Hyatt team made us feel so special. They didn’t just host our wedding—they created an unforgettable experience for us, our family and our friends. It truly was the trip of a lifetime, and we will cherish those memories forever.

We recently held my wedding at the Hyatt Regency Koh Samui, and we truly can’t put into words how incredible the entire experience was. Hyatt Regency brought my dreams and vision to life — everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We will cherish this day for the rest of my life. A special thank you to Panthawat (Tum), our amazing event coordinator. We couldn’t have done this without him. The thing we appreciated most about Tum was how responsive he was throughout the entire planning process.
His communication and punctuality made everything smooth and easy, even during moments when planning could have felt overwhelming. He was incredibly patient, always listened to what we wanted, and did his absolute best to make it happen. His professionalism and ability to get things done efficiently were unmatched.
We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Eve, who was by our side from the moment we stepped foot in our room until the end of the reception. She was amazing, supportive, and truly made us feel taken care of every step of the way. Thank you, Hyatt Regency Koh Samui, for making our dream wedding a reality. Everything was perfect.

Panthawat (Tum) made myself and all my guests feel present and engaged and was pivotal in making it a spectacular event. He offered options in case of bad weather, but it turned out a stunning day. Overall planning experience was excellent and Panthawat did an amazing job. Bank at F&B was amazing and helped answering questions, along with the F&B management.
Overall friendliness of every staff member made our day wonderful.
