About The Surin Phuket

The Surin Phuket offers a sophisticated Thai experience, providing guests with individual cottages and suites with unmatched tranquility positioned next to the beach. The Surin Phuket is a member of Design Hotels™, recognised globally for their independent boutique hotels. The Surin, formerly known as The Chedi, is nestled away from the crowds on a pristine stretch of shoreline overlooking Pansea Beach on the west coast of Phuket Island, Thailand. Situated close enough to enjoy neighbouring Surin area, with just enough separation to take pleasure in a truly unique retreat. The resort is a 25 minutes car journey from Phuket International Airport and 30 minutes drive from lively Patong Beach and historical Phuket Town.

Paris-based Ed Tuttle who originally designed The Surin also returned to rejuvenate this celebrated resort. The charm of beach-side serenity remains the same, but all of the guests cottages and the resort’s restaurants and facilities have now been upgraded. Ed’s concept is a fresh take on beach cottages that  beautifully combines local materials and Thai designs with modern functionality.

This resort also provides a picture perfect tropical setting for exotic weddings, surrounded by the azure waters of the Andaman Sea and sheltered under a canopy of coconut palms. Together with their warm hospitality, serenity and exemplary service, this unique blend of ingredients at The Surin ensures you a splendid setting for your wedding celebration.

Note 1: A minimum number of 3 nights stay for the couple is required for a wedding here. Special group rates are available for your friends and family to stay at The Surin as well.
Note 2: Additional wedding venue rental fees of USD $1,484 applies for weddings with less than 30 guests.
