Kayumanis Nusa Dua Private Villa & Spa

Bali, Indonesia

Ceremony Locations

The Plaza

Max. 70 guests

Our favourite choice for an outdoor wedding ceremony is most definitely here. Here is where beauty meets practicality from beginning to end. Surrounded by trees and garden walls with white concrete benches, the Plaza feels like a mini amphitheatre. It is simply and superbly laid out, allowing you to quickly and easily visualise your wedding here. Located near the centre of the resort, this area is very quiet and private.

The Beach

Max. 100 guests

For those wanting a beach wedding in popular Nusa Dua Beach without having loads of guests from neighbouring resorts walking by, this choice is great. Whilst not as private as the Plaza, the beach at Kayumanis is well located on a small headland which separates two long stretches of beach. This area is much larger and wider than other parts of the beach giving ample space for your guests. Kayumanis have also built a simple timber pergola which is used as a ceremonial arch.

Glass Chapel

Max. 30 guests

The Glass Chapel, Kayumanis's indoor option, is a mix of modern and traditional Balinese architecture. The chapel itself has floor-to-ceiling glass windows and is tastefully surrounded by external bamboo screens. One of our favourite elements to this location is the special featured entrance to the Chapel. This entrance is long and narrow with extremely high open ceilings. It provides a unique and intimate atmosphere as you enter and as you leave, making your special day that little bit grander.

What we love:
  • The villa directly faces the plaza, allowing the bride to step straight out onto the aisle when ready.
  • The surrounding white concrete benches for guests creates a unique and cosy atmosphere.
  • The trees not only bring that feeling of nature, but also allow you to hang extra decorations.
  • The gong to announce the arrival of the bride.
  • Although chairs are available, we recommend the white concrete benches for a more unique feel.
What we love:
  • Complimentary traditional Balinese rickshaw that can whisk you both to the beach. Stylish with a touch of vintage charm.
  • Beach is wider than most giving you lots of space for you and your guests and whichever setup you would like.
  • This is a low traffic area towards the end of the main stretch of beach, meaning less distractions for passers by.
  • Romantic wooden deck pathway on the beach is great for wedding pics.
  • The stunning sunrise breakfast is a refreshingly different way to spend the morning after.
What we love:
  • The special featured-entrance to the chapel is unique and absolutely stunning.
  • Very modern design with floor-to-ceiling glass walls together with hints of traditional Balinese style.
  • Conveniently located close to the lobby and restaurant, making it quick work for your guests to move onto cocktails after the ceremony.
  • Cosy and intimate environment and air-conditioned to your liking.
Things you should know:
  • The Plaza is located behind a main pathway. However with only 20 private villas, there really isn't much to worry about.
Things you should know:
  • Whilst the beach and sky are beautiful, there is no direct sunset as it faces east.
  • The beach can take around 10 minutes to walk to from the lobby.
  • Weather can sometimes change quickly in the area, thus we recommend you have a backup plan ready.
Things you should know:
  • This area is located just above the restaurant, however is quiet since it's enclosed.
